Nesting Coach Period
Teachers in probation are those who are in their Nesting Coach Period (first 1-2months) with Landi English.
During the first 6 weeks, teachers are NOT permitted to take leave or modify their schedule.
Excessive leave requests could result in financial penalties and in extreme cases immediate termination.
Every offered schedule has to be valid for at least 6 months.
Cancellations due to the teacher’s reasons can lead to warnings or termination.
Any cancellations within the first week may result in immediate termination. Please check with NC for detail information.
Teachers who have more than three warnings in the first six weeks will be terminated as well.
Probation Evaluation
Teachers will be evaluated based on overall performance from their first 1-2 months of teaching from their activation date (start date). NC will evaluate the teacher within 2 months. The results will be sent to teachers.
For teachers who fail to meet the requirements, a notification informing will be sent to them of their last working day. And the contract will be honored until the last working day.
If a teacher fails to work until the last day, their salary will be put on hold.
In summary, during the Nesting Coach Period or at the end of Nesting Coach Period, the teacher’s status will be one of two:
- Passed Nesting Coach
- Failed Nesting Coach and Terminated
Nesting Coach Evaluation Criteria
The criteria below are used to evaluate all REG teachers in the Nesting Coach period.
The teacher will be informed, and the evaluation will be completed within 1 to 2 months of teaching.
Please be aware that the benchmark will be adjusted accordingly as the requirement of company development.
Some of the students assigned to our new teachers will be new students. We commit to providing refunds to new students unconditionally in the first five weeks. That’s why teachers' attendance in the first six weeks is crucial.
Any leave or schedule changes will result in unwanted teacher changes, which could leave an impression of instability.
